	DJ MLADEN TOMIC / /night light records An irresistible need to immerse himself in house music led Bosnian DJ Mladen Tomić to launch his career, playing clubs in his hometown of Banja Luka, since 1996. Two years later he had made a job of what started as a hobby, establishing a reputation for a sound that mixed deep, tech-house with more tribal rhythms. That pulsing vein continues to be tapped to this day, with track releases and gigs from triple-decker Mladen presenting an infectious blend of deep, tech-house, techno and tribal with energy, variety and a harder sound. Times took an upturn in 1999 when Mladen partnered with fellow Banja Lukan DJ Siniša Tamamović to set up Urban Beat, an organisation that has successfully promoted events and tours in their native Republika Srpska and throughout Bosnia (Banja Luka, Sarajevo, Tuzla, Doboj, Prijedor, Mostar, Bihac, Travnik, Zenica). Hi organised a lot of parties in Banja Luka (clubs Boomerang, Sokolski, Music Hall), which was very important for scene there. Mladen has also played abroad numerous times, including Serbia (EXIT 04 festival Novi Sad, Belgrade, Nis, Sombor), Montenegro (Podgorica, H.Novi, Kotor), Croatia (Krizevci, Rovinj, S.Brod), Scotland (Glasgow, Edinburgh), Germany (Karlsruhe), Spain (Tarancon), Slovenia (Sezana, Maribor, N.Gorica) and Macedonia (Skopje, Kocani, Ohrid)… so far! Another milestone will be marked with the December launch of Night Light Records, the brainchild of Mladen and Siniša, delivering a solid roster of releases into 2008 and beyond. Mladen is a resident of Banja Luka’s Music Hall and had recently worked with leading lights in international DJing, including Marko Nastić, Umek, Pedro Delgardo, Trevor Rockliffe, Advent, Brenda Russel, Sven Vath, Jim Masters, Misjah, Oxia,Valentino Kanzyani, Antoine Clamaran, Jamie Anderson, Ade Fenton, Ladida, Cristian Varela, Space DJ’s, Deetron, Paul Hazendonk, Preach...). In 2002, Mladen added production to his talents, releasing original tracks and remixes across some of Europe’s main techno and electronic labels such as Adult Records, MKT, Dolls, Relatives, Yin Yang…. In June 06, he unveiled an original four-track EP ‘Neuro’ for Fly Life, ranking highly on download charts, also like Adventure EP on Ying Yang jn January 2008 and Blackwhite Man EP on MKT in 2009 on vinil and digital charts. Forthcoming releases are due on their own Night Light label, as well as from their previous stables. Zbog velike privrzenosti i ljubavi prema muzici, 1996.g., pocinje da se bavi poslom dj-a. Radio je amaterski po banjaluckim klubovima, da bi vec 98.g. zapoceo profesionalni rad. Te iste godine zapocinje rad sa elektronskom muzikom, da bi se do danas odrzao u tom pravcu. U to vrijeme je miksao deep, tech-house i tribal. Krajem 1999.g. se udruzuje sa dj-om Sinisom Tamamovicem, kada njih dvojica osnivaju dj asocijaciju” Urban Beat”, koja od tada sve do danas organizuje mnoge uspjesne partyje, kao i gostovanja. Zajedno sa Sinisom, u to vrijeme bio je resident kultnog banjaluckog kluba Boomerang. Zurke koje su tu organizovali imale su znacajnu ulogu u jacanju scene u Banja Luci. Od pocetka 2002. .g. set radi na tri gramofona, miksajuci techno, tech-house i minimal, energicnije, raznovrsno, sa vise underground zvuka. Trenutno je rezident BL cluba Music Hall. U svojim setovima, slicno kao i u svojoj produikciji, balansira izmedju techna i minimala. Iza njega su mnogi uspjesni party-ji koji su propraceni nastupom sa mnogim domacim i stranim dj-evima ( Umek, Trevor Rockliffe, Valentino Kanzyani, Oxia, Svan Vath, Jim Masters, Misjah, Tery Francis, Antoine Clamaran, Jamie Anderson, Ade Fenton, Ladida, Cricco Castelli, Cristian Varela, Space DJ’s, Deetron, Brenda Russell, Paul Hazendonk, Dj Preach, Tom Hades, Alexander Koning, Pedro Delgardo...). Radio je u svim gradovima BIH, u Srbiji (Beograd, N.Sad – EXIT 04, EXIT 08, Nis, Sombor..), Crnoj Gori (Podgorica, H.Novi, Kotor...), Hrvatskoj (Krizevci, Rovinj, Sl.Brod..), Skotskoj (Glasgow, Edinburg), Njemackoj (Karlsruhe), Spaniji (Tarancon), Slovenija (Sezana, Nova Gorica, Maribor), Makedoniji (Skoplje, Kocani, Ohrid)...... Od 2002.g. pored dj-inga, bavi se i produkcijom elektronske muzike. U junu 2006.g. izdaje svoje prvo izdanje za holandski lebel Fly Life Dig, pod nazivom “NEURO EP”, koji sadrzi 4 njegove stvari. Neuro EP je jedan od najprodavanijih EP-ja u septembru 2006.g. na Juno download online shopu. U februaru 2007.g. izdaje remix za Axel Karakasisa za stvar “Moving Shadows” na poznatom holandskom lebelu Adult Records. Nakon toga u novembru 2007. g. izasao je zajednicki EP sa Sinisom, “Banja Luka EP” na Adult 012. Takodje u isto vrijeme je izasao zajednicki EP na Dolls 06 “Audio Family 2” i stvar “Wind In The Spine” na Relatives 04. Nakon toga slijede izdanja na Yin Yang, Night Light, MKT, Solar Cathedral i td…. Pocetkom 2008.g., Mladen i Sinisa pokrenuli su record label pod nazivom NIGHT LIGHT Records.
